James Chan was born in New York City. A city boy all his life, his first love was comic books. At a tender age of five, his well-intentioned father bought him his first Superman comic. He has regretted it ever since. In his spare time when he is not in college, James writes his little funny books and hopes of one day making it big in the industry that he loves or whatever you call it when you can read comics all day and you get a paycheck for it.
