Do you get that from the statement: "Learn to draw real people, not comic book characters."?

Because Blazedent is definitely not an anti-comic book site. I believe that the writer of this tutorials meant that as an artist, one should broaden their horizons and focus on drawing real life people opposed to trying to 'copy' pre-existing characters. This would in turn allow an artist to have their own style when it came to drawing comic book and comic book characters....
