And as Y the Last Man comes to a close this January, reporter James Chan conducted an interview via e-mail with Y artist Pia Guerra to get her thoughts on the book, how she feels now that it is ending, and what her plans are for the future.

When you start Photoshop, the Tools palette appears at the left of the screen. Some tools in the Tools palette have options that appear in the context-sensitive options bar. These include the tools that let you use type, select, paint, draw, sample, edit, move, annotate, and view images. Other tools allow you to change foreground/background colors, go to Adobe Online, and work in different modes.
You can expand some tools to show hidden tools beneath them. A small triangle at the lower right of the tool icon signals the presence of hidden tools. Get a short description that documents every tool Photoshop's Tool Palette has to offer. A great reference guide for Photoshop users.

Artistic Genesis:
Let's share everything we know. Let's share our ideas, our thoughts, our works.
What if one of us had an idea that could inspire to the extent of changing the world? What if we never found out because we were trapped inside our heads, what if we didn't want anyone else to know the secrets that we've uncovered throughout our lives?
Let us create, learn and share...let us be the foundation that is Artistic Genesis.
